AE28 Dupondius, commemorating the recovery, by Germanicus, of the Legionary Eagles (Aquilæ) lost in the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in 9 A.D.

Obverse: GERMANICVS CAESAR, Germanicus, in a Quadriga, 
going to the right, holding the reigns and a sceptre.
Reverse: SIGNIS RECEP DEVICTIS GERM, Germanicus, cuirassed, advancing to the left, saluting with his right hand and holding an Aquila with his left. 
S-C across the fields.
