Obverse: Bust of king Khosrau II, facing to the right, wearing the Winged crown, surmounted with a  and , a to each side of the crown, wearing a torc, a tassle billows upwards from each shoulder, above his left shoulder, Pahlavi sentence, vertically, in the upper left and right fields (Kh'sr'wd).
Within a double border, with a and at 90, 180 and 270 degrees.
Reverse: Two noblemen, facing, each holding a sword downwards, in front of them, with both hands, the sacred, eternal fire of the Zoroastrians, between them. in the upper left field, in the upper right field. All within a triple border, with at 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees.
Pahlavi sentence, first line vertical to the left guard, second line vertical to the right guard, stating "struck in Rev-Ardashir"
